Game designer! A part of Uncaged and more writing Coming soon. Mini painter. Podcast in the works. I also teach character sheets, and DM games for girls ages 9-12.

Besides video games? 😊 Avid reader, yoga, and I was trying to get back to horseback riding until I had a bad injury a month ago!

Do you have a current project that you would like us to promote?

Hopefully the podcast by June! 😊

How did you get into tabletop gaming?

I wanted to play since I was a kid but satanic panic was real in my small town. I started playing when a friend of a friend found out that I wanted to join a game, well into my adulthood.

What do you love about tabletop games?

Every game brings back a memory as if you were really there, I love the shared storytelling experience.

Have you overcome any obstacles in tabletop gaming?

A little bit. Once someone told me I couldn’t “get” gaming because I hadn’t suffered like he had suffered growing up loving D&D. I’ve had men interrupt me or talk over me at the table, which is why running games for girls is so important to me.

What would your advice be to women who are interested in tabletop gaming?

Start where you’re comfortable. Reading rule books, watching Livestreams, sitting with friend’s games, jumping right in. There is no one-size-fits-all and it’s meant to be fun! We set up beginner games at our FLGS and I teach new character creation exactly for this reason.

In roleplaying games, what kind of characters are you drawn to play?

I love to learn all of the options so I try a new female character each time, but I never seem to be the one to keep quiet 😊 A very detailed backstory is just as important to me as what attacks a character can get.

Is there a woman in tabletop who you think we should highlight?
